FAQ
What should I wear?
I am a neutral photographer / editor. Matching outfits are not required. Choose 2 shades that work best with your skin tone. I want the people in the photos to be the main focus, not the clothes! I can offer some advice at the time of booking.
How much in advance should I book?
The more time I have to prepare the better - but I also work well under pressure so if its a last minute decision, please still reach out and I will do my best to accommodate you!
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time is from 1 to 3 weeks old when babies are still in their major sleepy scrunched fase. I understand the unexpected can happen so this session can be booked up until baby is 6 weeks old - limitations on certain poses if booked after the 3 weeks.
Do you take bookings out of Edinburgh?
Yes! I am happy to travel as far as I am needed. Travel costs would be discussed at the time of enquiry.
Is a deposit required?
I require a £15 non - refundable deposit up front at the time of booking.
The session can be rescheduled if given a minimum of 1 weeks notice.
If notice is given with less than 1 week, a new deposit is required to be paid.
How quick will I recieve my photos?
I aim to get photos edited and delivered via your online gallery as soon as possible - I do ask for up to 1 weeks patience. Galleries are usually produced much sooner than this.
